Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 8, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Ramble ("we", "us") handles information when you use our macOS application, web application, and Chrome extension (the "Services").

1. Information we collect

We collect only what is necessary to operate the Services:

  • Voice input: Audio you record is transcribed and processed to fulfill your command. We do not sell or share it with third parties for advertising.
  • Account data: If you sign in, we store your email address to identify your account.
  • Usage data: Basic, anonymized telemetry (e.g. errors, feature usage) to improve the product.

2. How we use information

We use the information to provide, maintain, and improve the Services, respond to support requests, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information.

3. Chrome extension permissions

The Ramble Chrome extension only requests permissions required for its functionality. It does not collect browsing history, sell data to third parties, or use data for purposes unrelated to the core feature.

4. Third-party services

To process voice commands we may use third-party AI providers (such as model APIs). These providers process data under their own terms and only as required to fulfill your request.

5. Data retention

We retain data only as long as necessary to provide the Services. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time.

6. Your rights

You may access, correct, or delete your personal information by contacting us. Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have additional rights under applicable laws.

7. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
